Missoula Children's Theatre Workshops 06/2026

Can't commit to a full week or rehearsals but love doing theater? Take a workshops lead by the Missoula Children's Theater staff.

Improv - Tuesday, June 16, 3-3:45 pm
Listening, creativity, bravery – all important skills for the Improv Actor to hone. This workshop emphasizes teamwork and “all-in” participation as the students learn to act without a script. Students of any experience level will be successful in this workshop.

Acting - Wednesday, June 17, 3-3:45 pm
“All the world’s a stage,” and all your students, merely players! This workshop explores the basic tools of an actor’s trade - observation, memorization, concentration, and imagination - in an entertaining way. The students participate in fun exercises, learning to apply the actor’s tools to performing and their everyday lives.

Stage Make Up- Thursday, June 18, 3-3:45 pm
Makeup is an important tool to enhance the work an actor does on stage when creating a character. This workshop teaches students of all ages by demonstrating (on a few participants) Corrective, Character, and Special Effects makeup for the theatre. Please note: this workshop is specific to theatre makeup techniques and is not a “face painting” experience. .
